Menstrual hygiene is an essential part of women’s health, yet many girls and women in underprivileged communities still lack access to proper sanitary products and awareness. Due to financial difficulties, social stigma, and lack of education, many women are forced to compromise on hygiene, which can lead to serious health issues and loss of confidence.
At YATI Social Foundation, we believe that menstrual health should never be ignored or treated as a taboo topic. Through our sanitary pad distribution initiative, we aim to create awareness about menstrual hygiene while supporting women and girls with access to safe and hygienic sanitary products.
Our initiative is not just about distributing sanitary pads — it is about educating communities, encouraging open conversations, and empowering women with confidence and dignity. By spreading awareness about hygiene practices and menstrual health, we help young girls continue their education without hesitation and support women in leading healthier lives.
Many women still feel uncomfortable discussing menstrual health openly due to social barriers and misconceptions. YATI Social Foundation is working towards changing this mindset by promoting awareness, education, and health-focused community programs.
A small step towards menstrual hygiene awareness can create a huge impact on society. When women are healthy, informed, and empowered, communities become stronger and more progressive.
Through collective support and community participation, we can create a future where every girl and woman has access to proper menstrual hygiene, awareness, and the dignity she deserves.
